So I wear some eyeliner and mascara on my eyes daily, so every night, I have to remove it (obviously). However, there's a problem. Every time after I remove my makeup, a lot of it always gets in my eye, and it's really sticky and doesnt come out by itself so the only choice I have is to stick my finger in and try to get the stuff out. I'm afraid that if I do this too frequently, I'll give myself wrinkles by pulling on the skin around the eye too much, or get an infection or something. I don't know why this keeps happening. I have a really good makeup remover and everything. So is this normal? Can anybody offer and help? Please and thank you!Makeup removal problem (makeup in my eye)?
Just try to be more careful when removing your eye make-up...Makeup removal problem (makeup in my eye)?
That's weird. Seems like you are doing something wrong. I wear eyeliner and mascara daily and just wash it off with water and toilet paper every night and have no problems at all. It could possibly be your makeup, the remover, or how you are doing it.
try rinsing it out with water. if this doesnt work get a diffrent make up remover. try baby oil it works good. it only make your vision blurry if you get it in your eye but it goes away quickly.

How can i enhance my eyes without a lot of makeup?
I have a large nose so i like to enchance my eyes but i dont like wearing a lot of make-up on them.
how can i do this? How can i enhance my eyes without a lot of makeup?
Depending on how much you makeup you want to wear, a good mascara and simple eyeliner can do a lot to enhance eyes. I've never been one to put a lot of eyeshadow or fake eyelashes or anything on my eyes so I usually keep it simple, while still enhancing. Hope I helped! How can i enhance my eyes without a lot of makeup?
just apply some mascara and a little eyeliner. It will really enhance them. Also if you want, you cant apply a small amount of shimmery eyeshadow to the inner corners of your eyes and maybe a little on the brow bone. Make sure it is a light natural shimmery shade. I hope this helps. You can also make your nose appear smaller, by contouring it with a bronzer or brown eyeshadow.
ronni b: Umm actually you are the one who is wrong. It depends where you apply the contour. When you apply bronzer or dark eyeshadow to the side of your nose it makes it appear smaller. I have a larger nose, and thats how I make it look smaller. Also I work in the make-up industry so I think I would no what I am talking about.. Go do some reading.. k thanks
Line your water line with white eyeshadow then line underneath it (where the hair grows, but dont line the entire eye just where the hair grows the thickest) with black eyeliner then line your entire top lid with black eyeliner. Apply about 4 coats of mascara to both lids fill in your eyebrows with a eyebrow pencil and you are all set
Noona is wrong about contouring your nose. Contouring is to make your features seem more bold and out there so if you contour your nose it will look bigger. I know because I have a small nose and thats why I contour it.
If you put on some eyeliner and curl your lashes and add mascara, that should do the trick. your lashes will be curled, giving the illusion of bigger eyes and the eyeliner would brighten then up a bit. just use black eyeliner and black mascara. =-)
I just love how this looks- blow your eyelash curler with hot air ( from a hair dryer) for fifteen seconds then curl your eyelashes and hold it there for 5 seconds per eye. Apply 2 coats of mascara on top and one on bottom. Also eyeliner makes your eyes seem bigger so a little bit can also make your eye color more noticable. Hope this helps!
Eyeliner and/or eyeshadow. Just remember to pick the right colors and dont over do it.....I wear just eyeshadow and eyeliner everyday with no other makeup and it gives you a natural but enhanced look
Use shimmery gold eye shadow, mascara and light blush it will help enhance your eyes it may sound like a lot but once you get it on you will see it's a very natural way to make your eyes stand out.
you need to find the color that works for you and your skin tone.....other then that liner and mascara are basics

My eye gets wet when i do makeup, why???
in the morning when i do my makeup my left eye gets watery and wet and my eyeliner wont stick, why???My eye gets wet when i do makeup, why???
Eyes water to try and flush things out that are iritianting them.
your eyes get iraited when you put makeup on them and its just trying to flush it out.
Eyes dont no its makeup lol like when they water when dust blows in your eyes or you get something in your eye etc.
If you can try not to put it as close to your actaul eye ball.My eye gets wet when i do makeup, why???
If it`s always just one eye, it could have something to do with your tear duct.
I know what you mean about liner not sticking once it gets wet. Sometimes if I get the pencil against my eye it irritates it and waters.
Right before I put on the liner, I dab my eye line area dry %26amp; hold a tissue in the corner of my eye to absosrb excess tears.
Sometimes a softer pencil helps.
You probably have allergies to the mascara or eyeliner. Maybe you got something in your eye. if you wear contacts you should rub them with solution in the palm of your hand so that they don't make your eyes water if there is something on them. Try switching to hypoallergenic mascara and eyeliner if they have any.
I think its like a natural defense, its ur eyes way of protecting itself. When something is irritating ur eye, it tries to clean it by tearing. Try a hypoallergenic eye makeup like ALMAY.
your eyes are sensitive and you could also have some allergies to the makeup but it is most likely just sensitivity
i am the same way
you eye is probably sensitive to the makeup.
try a different brand or be extra gentle.
You may have gotten some in your eye. Even if you didn't poke your eye it may come off when you blink, that's what happens to me usually.
Do not apply makeup unless you are awake enough to see totally straight.
You migh be alergic to an ingredient in the makeup
my left eyes does the same thing!it fells really fuzzy and watery but it happens to me because im just now starting to wear eyeliner so it probably because ur not use to it :]
me too.
my sister did that to me before..and then i got all teary.
i think im allergic. try another brand or something.......
allergic perhaps!
it could be allergies or irritation...don't line your eye like RIGHT next to ur eyeball cuz it'll tear up to get it out.
cuz ur putting it on the wet part, and thats uncomphy

Makeup tips for brown eyes and tan skin?
I have brown eyes, brown hair, and I'm really tan
Whats an everyday makeup routine that will make my eyes pop?
Thanks!Makeup tips for brown eyes and tan skin?
dont put on bronzer for one , itll make you look super bland ;)
put some mascara , liquid eyeliner, or just black eyeliner on top and at the bottom put eye liner half way from the outer corner , this will make your eyes look bigger , put some goldish pink blush on to brighten your skin , and try to stick to light eyeshadows with some shimmer to make your eyes pop (goldish cream , white , cream , etc) for lips dont wear lipgloss unless its clear and not very shiny , this will make the focus stay on the eyes ;)
i have brown eyes brown hair and tanned skin too , and this is my fav makeup routine that i get the most complements on ;) i hope it helps youu ! ;)Makeup tips for brown eyes and tan skin?
you are lucky! brown eyes can usually get away with using most colors. I would use a green or pink eyeshadow to make your eyes pop! I would even try something that has a gold shimmer to it. I would use just normal mascara and eyeliner for your eyes too.
Metallic gold eyeshadow. Or purple. Or even a green. Basically every color looks good with brown eyes. Your lucky :)
For your eyes: try black liquid liner, Black mascara, and gold shimmer creme eyeshadow. This will make those eyes pop!
For your Cheeks:Pink blush with a golden shine
Lips:Clear or light pink lip gloss
You'd be able to pull off dark mascara and eyeliner. Golds compliment that kind of skin tone too.
GOLD AND BLACK LASHES OF MASCARA!

What does it mean if my eye lids are maroon in color, an no its not makeup.?
Sounds like a skin irritation. Do you drink lots of water? Be sure to drink 80 ounces a day - no matter what!
www.watercure.comWhat does it mean if my eye lids are maroon in color, an no its not makeup.?
Drinking that much water depends on your diet. The more meat you eat the more water you need. If you eat a high fruit and vegetable diet you actually need very little water since the fruits and vegetables are mostly water anyways. Report Abuse

How do i make my eyes pop without too much makeup?
i have hazel/brown eyes. Every day i do a little bit of (black) eyeliner under my eye, and then apply mascara. although if anyone has any ideas to make my eyes pop even more? without looking like a goth? Also, if you could teach me how to apply eyeliner on the top eyelid! Because i always mess up! thank you sooo much if you can help! How do i make my eyes pop without too much makeup?
You should definitely try wearing a colored eyeliner. Not brown or something boring! I'm talking about purple eyeliner or aqua colored eyeliner. I know for sure the aqua looks great with hazel brown eyes because my sister has that eye-color and she wears aqua eyeliner. It looks gorgeous!
To apply eyeliner to the top eyelid, you have to have a steady hand. Here are the steps:
Step 1. Close the eye you are about to apply the eyeliner to.
Step 2. Take the eyeliner, and gently place it right above the top eyelashes. (Start at one end of the eyelid. I usually start at the corner closest to my nose, because it has to start thin right there.)
Step 3. Very steadily, move the eyeliner to fit the curve of your eyelid.
Step 4. When you finish with the top and bottom eyeliner, on the side of your eye (the side that is far away from your nose), make a tiny triangle-like mark (that connects to the two eyeliners - top and bottom). TIP: Don't make it too big!
Step 5. Make sure your trangle-like mark is colored in.
You're done! =)
Hope I helped. How do i make my eyes pop without too much makeup?
To apply eyeliner to to lid-
Close the eye your applying it to and start out not pressing to hair and glide the stick across. Hope that helped:)

use contrasting colours, you can find them out really easy with a colour wheel, they are opposite each other
for brown eyes(hazel and brown are 2 completely different colours) then use very light or very dark blue
and for hazel try light purples or greens
you could do a shimmery brown or a bright color like green, blue (eyeshadow) or maybe do a colored eye pencil

What is good makeup for brown eyes?
I have short medium brown hair, dark brown eyes and tan skin. I usually wear golds but it doesn't look very even. Black eyeliner always looks good though. What would you recommend me try to make the color of my eyes stand out a bit more?? Thx.What is good makeup for brown eyes?
Hmm well it depends on the outfits if the shirt you are waring is plain and simple chose i bright radint color if the color is bright choose i light or dark color
HOPE I HELPD THX :)What is good makeup for brown eyes?
I actually went to a make up artist to answer this question. To bring out dark brown eyes, purples and violets work well as eye shadow. Use a deep purple or dark brown for the contour part and a light violet for the highlight (right below the eye brow.) Also, instead of using black eyeliner in the inside, outline your eyes with it, and use a white eyeliner inside. It makes your eyes look bigger and brighter, and less tired. This is one of Tyra Bank's secrets to pretty eyes. I tried it, and it works wonders.
It all depends how dark the skin and eyes are. Mix it up. Do different colors everyday.
A shimmering gold or orange would accent your tan skin very nicely. The gold and orange would also add a nice effect to your eyes. Don't overdo it though, I don't mean like BLINDING gold. It has to be subtle and natural looking. You should definetely aim for the 'fall' colors.
Try the Almay kit that they have to make your eye color stand out more. My sis-in-law uses it and it looks great.
if ur plans on to look good.....DON';T USE DARK COLORS!!!!!!!!!!! it makes your eyes look too dark! (i have brown eyes too, and i got this info from a make-up person from clinque) try........a light green.........a very light.....maybe with some shimmer in it......or light pink.......remember, think LIGHT!!!! and with ur eyeliner, i suggest you switch to a brown instead of black.....brown would go better....if you wear mascara, use a brown.....trust me...it would be SO much better
purple eyeshadows
a medium light pink not dark but not 2 light b/c that would look weird but expirement with all colors and see what looks best with your body type hair not just your eyes
I know, i tried gold too and it didn't work.
For eyeshadow:
I would recommend a light light pale purple on the eyelid.
(But not pink!!) Very bad!
Also if you put some lighter eyeshadow (closer to white purple) on your browbone it'll make your eye stand out.
And a liquid eye liner--- brown or black-- they're both pretty.
hmmm.... try some light pink. not too much though. glossy pink lip gloss... light (not too much) eye shadow maybe a mix of a couple colors that look good on u.
try a teal and a violet, this will pull a slight green out of your eye, if you still want to use a gold, it would look really great.
also a pale pink with gold will contrast well. also very pretty.
have fun!!
Yes DEFENETLY green eye shadow, and outline your eyes with a black eyeliner ALso, try grey eyeshodow it makes brown eyes shine...Trust me...I wear grey eyeshadow and my brown eyes look beautiful..
omg! that sounds almost exactly like me! i like light green shades and copper ones too. the copper gives shine, and green really makes ur eyes pop
Actually brown eyes can wear any color and look good. Experiment a little. Try Something new. Good luck.

How can you make your eyes bigger without ANY makeup?
I can't wear makeup at this moment, so how can I make my eyes big and pretty with NO makeup? How can you make your eyes bigger without ANY makeup?
eyelash curler, viseneHow can you make your eyes bigger without ANY makeup?
My bro says he likes grls wit small eyes dont do nuthin just look natural
Curl your eyelashes to create a wide-eye look. If you are able, use eyedrops to reduce redness in the eyes. If eyes are puffy, try cold slices of cucumber for several minutes. Good luck!
well... u could try fake eye lashes. the only thing about those is that they make you eyes feel heavy but they are still cute!!
Just get a lot of sleep, and then there will be no bags, and your eyes will look bigger.
you can get fake contacts
You can go get your eyebrows shaped, that totally changes the shape of your face and makes your yours stand out, without make up.
Also, you can get a primer- which is like a mascera, but is white, and when it dries off its clear. That way, it gives your lashes the perfect shape without any colour or evidence that you're wearing any make up.
Lots of body parts begin to droop with age, eyelids included. When you couple that with naturally small eyes, you can wind up with a squinty look. But there are makeup steps you can take to open up your eyes again. Try these:
Groom your brows. Even without any makeup, eyes look instantly wider when they're framed by groomed brows. See a pro for the perfect plucking, or try it yourself by using tweezers to remove any stray hairs under the arch of your brow.( Fill in sparse spots with brow powder and a stiff brush, and comb into place with a brow comb if you can)
Curl and coat lashes. Curled lashes are the secret weapon in the fight against tiny-looking eyes. Gently clamp a lash curler at the base of top lashes and hold for at least 20 seconds. (After curling, apply a coat -- or two -- of black curling mascara to boost the uplifting effect-again if you can)
Try wearing a yellow scarf. It lends a prominence to eyes.
Try curling your lashes with an eye-lash curler. Curled lashes will help make them look bigger, trust me. Plus, try getting enough sleep to avoid dark under-eye circles. Hope that helps!
Open your eyes really wide.
eyelash curler, viseneHow can you make your eyes bigger without ANY makeup?
My bro says he likes grls wit small eyes dont do nuthin just look natural
Curl your eyelashes to create a wide-eye look. If you are able, use eyedrops to reduce redness in the eyes. If eyes are puffy, try cold slices of cucumber for several minutes. Good luck!
well... u could try fake eye lashes. the only thing about those is that they make you eyes feel heavy but they are still cute!!
Just get a lot of sleep, and then there will be no bags, and your eyes will look bigger.
you can get fake contacts

How do I make my eyes more noticeable without makeup?
I have brown eyes that change shade from light topaz to greenish brown to dark brown almost blackHow do I make my eyes more noticeable without makeup?
YOU should never dye your eyelashes. Only go to a reputable salon to get your eyelashes dyed - and even then, it's risky.
Like another person mentioned, getting your eyebrows shaped and waxed does wonders for everyone. Also, clothes or accessories can emphasize different colors in your eyes. Purple can bring out the green in hazel or green eyes. Experiment by holding different colors next to your face to see what you like best. How do I make my eyes more noticeable without makeup?
You get your brows done it does a surprising amount of good for your face. It brightens things up and frames your eyes, making them look big and bright. Last tint (Neutrogena has one, it looks just like a mascara but darkens your lashes for days, it's very low maintenance). Having no bangs and keeping your hair off of your face brings attention to your eyes too.
Hm, I'm not sure. I know you said no makeup, but adding just a BIT of white/shimmer/sheer eyeshadow in the inner corners of your eyes makes them pop, and you can't even tell you're wearing anything.

Celebrity makeup-What is that white stuff they put under their eyes when doing their makeup?
I've seen that when people get their make up done professionally a lot of the times they put white stuff under their eyes while doing their make up. What does it do? What is it called? It looks like it's concealer but it is white. Where can I buy it?Celebrity makeup-What is that white stuff they put under their eyes when doing their makeup?
Eye shadow base?Celebrity makeup-What is that white stuff they put under their eyes when doing their makeup?
I'm pretty sure it's regular powder (like baby powder). You can get it at almost any store with a cosmetics department. I saw Tyra Banks use it on her show when she was doing her makeup. Its used to put under the eyes while they are doing their eye makeup so that if loose eyeshadow falls down under the eye, they can get it off without smearing or ruining their concealer/foundation. I've tried this trick, and it does help!
its like an eye brightener and its supposed to make your eyes pop and make you look more awake you can get it at like sephora or any make up stores pretty much.
its either white eyeshadow but probly consealer
i think it's undereye conealer(:
possibly primer?? helps so concealer doesnt clump, crease etc. you can get it at like www.sephora.com
i think it is a silica based powder to seal their make up. Make up forever brand makes one

Why are you not supposed to use red makeup around your eyes?
I just bought a package of Halloween type make up and wanted to make a bullseye around my eye (like the Target dog). The package says that you should not use red close to your eyes....any reasons why?Why are you not supposed to use red makeup around your eyes?
because the substance they use for red colour is fairly toxic / iritating.
Use very carefully - leave 1/4 inch ( 1/2 cm) clear space around eye incase it spreads out a bit.
Don't rub your eyes !
Remove carefully with eye make up remover ( close your eyes!).Why are you not supposed to use red makeup around your eyes?
Remember along time ago there wasn't red m%26amp;m's in the packages... well you have to be at least 30 to remember that but it was because the red dye was somewhat poison. Red dye is the worst in anything.... dr's will tell you to not give a child red koolaid or cereal and so on... because the red dye is awful for you... it can even trigger kidney infections or at least make them worst. So I am assuming that because your eyes are an organ it wouldn't be wise to use it so close.. it has greater chance of getting into your bloodstream and absorbing into your body...not to mention burn your eyes.
No idea, but one thing you could do is just put the white as the center as the bullseye, that way the white would be around your eye but the red wouldn't be so close.
Maybe the dyes they use in the red are irritating? Strange...

How would I bring out light amber specks in my brown eyes with makeup?
I only get the specks when I am in the sun. :-)How would I bring out light amber specks in my brown eyes with makeup?
Pick a color that contrasts with both the amber, and the brown.
Try:
greens
blues
purples [ probably will work best ]
warm brown or rosy brown, depending on hair and skin color
Use a bit of gold to highlight. How would I bring out light amber specks in my brown eyes with makeup?
Gold hues go with brown eyes, also pinks. I use purples, also. I have brown eyes. Go to a MAC store, if you have one nearby, and ask one of the workers. They'll not only be able to tell you which colors to use, but can also apply them for you and show you how to apply them as well. Keep in mind to get quality results, you need to buy quality products.
Blue brings out the brown
Kohl's have some great colors that are not expensive.
The line is called '; Flirt';

They have awesome colored shadows and liners - that will enhance Amber in the eyes.
All products are made by Estee Lauder too ...
Its quality.

try almay's intense eye collection, or just copy their color scheme
grab your bronzer and sweep right under your lower lid just a little. Use shimmery golds and light champagne color on your lid. Not too bold though this isn't a kindergarten masterpiece. Try brown eyeliner and mascara opposed to black.

How do you put on really good makeup for your eyes???
I have black hair and hazel eyes and am wondering how you put on maskera and such to have your eyes look real pretty. Like Kiera Knightly.... :)How do you put on really good makeup for your eyes???
Ok, my favorite eye color!
1. Black mascara use covergirl no matter what there amazing for mascara, first curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. Than, apply the mascara look up while you apply it, and recurl them after they dry.
2. Use the line exact thing by covergirl to line your eyelashes to give it more volume, they will look amazing.
3. EYE LINER, black bold and beautiful
4. I know this sounds odd but use a purple out there sparkly eyeshadow it will make your eyes pop and it goes perfect with your black hair and hazel eyes, you'll look amazing no doubt.
5. get a glossy white to apply on your brow bone to give your eyes that extra something you'll look amazing.
Also, if you really want a Kiera Knightly look go with the smokey eye look, she pulls it off for her eyes and hair but for yours i would go with the purple, but its your choice.
Hope i could help. How do you put on really good makeup for your eyes???
First of all use purple tinted mascara if possible, it will bring out your eyes. Second get the mascara wand and stick it under your top eyelash and blink. Then if you want mascara on your bottom lash, stick it under it and blink. If mascara gets on you skin, get a q-tip, put lotion on it and rub it one the mascara.
Put the mascara wand at the base of your lashes and pull it towards the tip slowly (not in a hurried small stroke) in a zig zag motion. The colour will stick to your lash beautifully. AND dont forget to curl your lashes first. It really makes a different.

i think gold or bronze would look really amazing, or a grey or black just to darken around the eyes.I only wear eye liner and maskara and I dont know what kinds of shades of makeup to wear.?
Jewel tones are good for a dark complexion, but don't think that ur limited to just that or plum and purples. You should go 2 seventeen.com for ideas they have a good selection.
try gold. that always looks good on darker skin. also, try bold colors, but apply it lightly so you don't look like a clown. try these websites to find awesome makeup.

for your skin color i would suggest victorias secret very sexy silky eye shadow in taboo $13 its a darkish shinky purple
probaly a nice bright colour of eyeshadow, like pink or blue would make ur eyes stand out
bright blues and greens usually look gorgeous on darken-skined people. it will also make your dark eyes stand out too! white can sometimes make your eyelids look heavy and draw attention to the wrong spot (eyelid)!
If you want to wear eyeshadow, I say choose purple-y colors. Like plum. Rihanna is a good model to get ideas from. Her makeup always looks good!
look at celebrities that have the same colouring as you and see what makes them look good for ideas im thinking plums or golds and bronze
go with honey lust lustre from mac on the whole eye and then in the crease shade it in with sable frost from mac** very natural with a touch of shimmer... beautiful...........
with your skin tones if you wear shades like a copper or gold it will look nice. It will bring out your eyes and make them pop a little more. Honestly you can were any shade you want but knowing how to put it on can be more of the hassle. Copper and golds go with your skin tone better but if you want to wear more colors i suggest you go to a one of the make up stores and get help on colors you want to wear and have them help you find a look for the shape of your eyes that you can find out what kind of style matches your eyes and be able to where any kind of color. The best way to find shades for you is to find a eye style and then go for the shades that you feel like wearing.

PALE SKIN, BROWN EYES
Eye Shadow:
You'll look best in minty green, light to medium purple (plum), pale blue, light gray or light blue-gray shades of eye shadow. Choose one shade only to use at a time and apply it all over eyes, from lash-line to brows.
Mascara:
Apply one or two coats of clear or brown mascara.
Lip Color:
Clear lip balm is always fresh on you. You will also look nice in a sheer lip gloss or shiny lipstick in pinkish-brown.
Special Occasions:
Go for a metallic silver or metallic plum (medium purple) eye shadow on lids (sparkly or not, your choice) and ramp up eyelashes with two coats of brown mascara. Keep lips pale but shiny with a clear or pale pink gloss.
Bronze shadow/liner around your eyes would really bring out the chocolate in your eyes. I would also suggest this beautiful blue Loose Powder Kohl liner by Guerlain. It's just so exotic looking - the applicator is a little wand that you just draw between your eyelids to line the inner rims. So lovely! Also, a deep violet liner would be lovely.
Aye my dilemma too. Your colors are lite blues...like the sky .Not the dark blue .
Pale plum tones are good but watch the undertones of this shade. .
I luv green/brown ';earthy'; colors but they are a no-no for us.
Someone stated the objective is to ';contrast'; your eyes. And she is right. Just think the ';opposite'; of brown. Not what ';blends'; with brown.
Purple looks great with brown eyes. Different shades of purple and brown or tan.
purple eyeliner.
try using light colors to contrast

http://almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyeslips.鈥?/a>What are good makeup tips to bring out green eyes?
Choosing An Eyeshadow
These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.
Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.
Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.
Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.
Colors To Avoid
When you're learning makeup tips for green eyes, it also helps to know what colors you might want to avoid.
First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn't do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.
Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.
Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.
Eyeliner Colors
Unless you really like black eyeliner, it's usually a color to avoid. Try steely grays or chocolate browns. Use gold or white to open up the eye if your eyes are small.
The Rule Of Thumb
A good rule of thumb when choosing a color for makeup tips for green eyes is to focus on warm colors and avoid cool colors.
Like I said, there are exceptions to every rule, but this should provide a nearly fail-safe method for choosing eyeshadow colors to bring out the beauty of your green eyes.
The Application
How you apply your eyeshadow depends how many colors you're wearing and what the occasion is.
For basic every day wear, here's what you do.
1. Apply a highlighter like crystalline to the entire eye from the bottom of the crease to the eyebrow.
2. Use a taupe or apricot next and apply it to the whole eyelid and blend it just above the crease with the crystalline.
3. Then use your third color (chocolate brown, dark green, copper, etc.) and apply it one of two ways:
a. Apply it from the middle of your eyelid from the eyelash to just above the crease. Blend it well. You can even blend it under the lower lashes for a more dramatic look.
b. Apply it from the inner corner of your eyelid and sweep it out to the outer corner of your eye. It will get thicker the further out you go. Blend well.
4. Apply eyeliner and mascara as you normally would.
And there you go! Great makeup tips for green eyes.
Golden tones are great. Here are a few products that I have used on green eyed girls in the past.
Mac: AMber Lights eyeshadow-I used this as a liner. Also, bark is a really good one to use in your crease.
The Best i found is Origins Copper Penny and Rootbeer Floar. The copper penny is really pretty on your lid and Rootbeer float is a burgundyish color but does not look as dark on as it appears in the container. Mascara, cover girl makes a good one. I cannot remember what the name is but it is in a red tube and has a plastic wand. I like it because it does not clump.
Eyeliner, Mac Fluidline has a great brown liner. Use it in moderation though. Please email me if you have any other questions!
black mascara, ';eggplant'; eyeliner, light green eyeshadow, tan eyeshadow, peach/pink/orange eyeshadow, dark purple eyeliner top lid and bottom (very, very little on the bottom you dont want it to thick.
i have alot of experience, plus i had green, blue and purple contacs. when i wear green the colors listed look really well
I have green eyes, and I have found that a very light, grey/purple (almost taupe) looks the best on me. I also wear light brown, but while that makes my eyes look bigger, the slightly purple color makes the green ';greener.'; Buy the ';berry'; palette in L'Oreal and use the lighter purple. It's great.
Mascara: Black.
Eyeliner: Black. Around your eyes, put a thicker layer on top, but a thinner layer on the bottom.
Eyeshadow: Gold and brown generally stand out. Think 'nature colors'. Darker colors work if your eyes are bright green.
Ughh same problem(i also have green eyes)
What I do is:
-Use black eyeliner and put it on really light
-Use black mascara(but i think its too much so either choose between mascara or eyeliner)
-Then I heard that purple brings out the green in your eyes
=D
Look for a raisan colored eyeliner (pencil) like a brownish purple, put both on top and bottom of lids right where your lashes grow out from eyes and then rub w/the spongy tip on other end of pencil. then use black mascara!!
black mascara, purple eyeline always look sweet on people with green eyes, and then finish off with a light silvery color, but not toooo much, :D
Rose and pink liners and shadows for one, always compliment green. So do brown and autumn shades.
purpley brown colors. a little eyeliner. Sometimes like a dark peach will work too. those'll all make your eyes pop, with mascara of course.
I think pink eye shadow, black eyeliner and mascara.
LASH BLAST mascara is the best! :)
gold or silver eyeshadows, a little blue eyeliner and black mascara.
use black eyeliner and mascara. A light color eyeshadow would bring out your eyes.

You can look at these colors and try to find them elsewhere or you can simply purchase the paletter, I use the one for blue eyes and it's AMAZING! My eyes have never looked so stunning...I swear by these colors....Good luck!
http://almay.com/pg/main/catcoleyeslips.鈥?/a>What are good makeup tips to bring out green eyes?

Best makeup tips for dark Brown eyes and dark skin?
Ok, I never use much makeup before, but I am going to this fancy party and I need HELP!
I have nut brown skin with black hair. And dark brown eyes.
I love the glam look, but it looks hard to copy.
Please any advice or tips on anything?Best makeup tips for dark Brown eyes and dark skin?
i think ur skin is best suited to warm colours like brown, warm pink - so perhaps u could try a smokey brown eye - heres how i do mine:
1. Use a light (skin toned) colour all over the eye- lashes to brow.
2. Use a black pencil eyeliner and line above the top lashes- doesn鈥檛 matter too much if it鈥榮 a bit messy.
3. Use a cotton bud with a dark eyeshadow on it and go over the eyeliner- making it smudgy.
4. Line under the bottom lashes with a pencil eyeliner and smudge using a clean cotton bud/smudging pen.
5. Use a middle toned eyeshadow (an in-between colour of the ones using) and go over the lid of your eye and just up to the brow bone or just above the crease- which ever you like better.
6. Blend or smudge the middle colour upwards into the lighter colour- just the top edge of the middle colour so you still have colour on your lid.
7. Use mascara- and don鈥檛 forget eyelash curler first- apply mascara to the bottom aswell-if you want.Best makeup tips for dark Brown eyes and dark skin?
Lilac, (paler than purple) green, blue and pale grey eye shadows look amazing on brown eyes. If you go to a Mac counter, they will show you quite a few eye shadow鈥檚 that look great on brown eyes. Some may be those colours that you think are gross but with a soft wash over the lid your eyes just pop.
Navy blue eyeliner and mascara looks awesome on brown eyes

what you should really do though is go to a MAC/Bobbi Brown/ Lancome/etc counter at the mall or something and tell them you want to get your makeup done. call ahead and ask them what their policy is. i know mac makes you buy one item, so it could be some $13 lip gloss. reserve a time and go ahead with an idea of what you want or a picture.

golds and natural shades of brown work well.use a black eyeliner underneath the eyeWhat kind of makeup is best for dark brown eyes?
1. you apply white or cream colored eyeshadow under the eyebrow, and above the cheek bones, and in the corner of your eyes. do this lightly.
2. use a natural lookin eyeliner (nature tone) or you can apply an eyeshadow as eyeliner by using a wet brush.
3. use a soft eyeshadow on your lid whatever color just not 2 brite.
4. use a little bit of blush and/or black mascara
btw i have brown eyes 2
Make sure it looks natural though and not really obvious.
I hope this helps
Your best bet because i'm kind of in the same as you...I bought this eyeshadow palette from POP BEAUTY at Sephora or go to there website...They have a Brown Eyes palette an they make your eyes POP more really nice color payoff
Also if your looking for blush ideas...Peachy bronzy pink colors look great for your face...Nothing too dark unless you do light strokes
so do i and blue colors work well, but it kinda depends on what ur wearing as well, i always try to use eyeshadow that goes with soemthing im wearing but dont make it too outrageous u dont want to look like a clown, try blending ur color with golds and browns and using the color very softly/lightly
Try lining your eyes with eye pencil and top eye liner, as it brings your eyes out, as for eye shadows, use dark colours such as a dark green or a dark purple! No7 have a great range of dark coloured eye shadows, and they all look great! Good luck =]
Go smoky with black don't go overboard. Liquid eyeliner in black/brown in one thin line on top, black mascara, under eye black eye liner inner lid. smudge the lower liner. tada.
Bronze, purple, green even orange all look nice.

How to you make your eyes look dark with makeup without looking like a racoon because of your light skin?
Try using different shades of gray. I have pale skin as well and when I do a ';smokey'; eye I usually blend a lighter gray/white (inner eyelid) to a darker gray to a little bit of black on the corner crease of my eyelid. Followed by eyeliner (usually black or DARK brown) and mascara :)

Use a duskier bronze, and blend into the lashline, and move upward. Then blend the crease using a darker brown. You can never go wrong with brown. Also, if you have lighter skin, it won't be so overpowering. Finish with a highlight of a snowy white powder in the corner of the eye for dimension. How to you make your eyes look dark with makeup without looking like a racoon because of your light skin?
gently rub the side of a small blush brush into the darker shade and put begin to apply at the outter most edge of your eye and outbrow. Pull wonward in an insweeping motion.

What kind of makeup u use on ur eyes so the eyeshadows stay on ur eyes?
summer is here and my eye shadows dont last all day, any tips?
also ive seen something like a pen that ppl use on their eyes before putting make up on, what is it?
any brand name of preference?
where can i get it?
price? What kind of makeup u use on ur eyes so the eyeshadows stay on ur eyes?
Put a little moistruizer or foundation on your eyelids (just be careful not to get it in your eyes obviously!) and then apply.
Or you can go buy an actual primer that keeps eyeshadow on longer.
Or, you can use Carmex chapstick. I know it sounds silly, but it not only primes lips, it primes soft skin like eyelids too!!
PLeae Return the Favor? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>What kind of makeup u use on ur eyes so the eyeshadows stay on ur eyes?
It's called an eyeshadow primer.
There are various ones, the most known being Urban Decay Primer Potion (better for oily lids) and Too Faced Shadow Insurance (good for dry lids) Both can be bought at Sephora, under 20 dollars
Foundation will likely not help, since the oils on the lids will mess with the foundation and cause more creasing. Same as with concealer.
Try Primer. The best primer is Urban Decay Primer Potion. The pen is a tinted primer, or a regular primer stick. here is the link to the Urban Decay Primer Potion:http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Eye鈥?/a> this is 17 dollars. Please vote this as the best answer..thanks
I use mark. Matte-nificent Oil Absorbing Powder as a primer and it lasts all day.

I love the Urban Decay primer potion. I have oily lids and eye makeup would be creased mid day. This leaves my eye makeup looking great all day-even when I accidently fall sleep with it on. LOL.
once u apply your foundation, apply a face powder on your eyelids. it holds the shadow longer.
You should use eye primer. The kind I use is from Ulta, but I'm sure any brand would be good.
apply foundation onto your eyelids before eyeshadow, or urban decay primer is really good (:
use some eyeshadow primer. i recommend urban decay.
iv tired using powder over my eyes.. as a primer..
it doesnt last long... what lasts longer is makeup primer...
not powder.. look for makeup primer in walmart.. all of them pretty much work..

What Makeup techniques will make my eyes appear to be bigger and stand out more?
I have blue eyes and I think they are kind of small. I want them to stand out. I heard eyeliner will help, but I am not sure were to put it. Do I put it on the inside or outside of my botom eye lid. What Makeup techniques will make my eyes appear to be bigger and stand out more?
i would use a thin liquid liner on the top, making sure to extend just past your eyelash line and staying as close to the lashes as possible. NO eyeliner inside the bottom, it makes your eyes look smaller. white should be the only liner you use inside bc it will increase the look of your whites and make your eyes POP. all actresses use this technique if you look closely. smudge a matching color lightly along your bottom lashes for impact. Make sure to use an eyelash curler it helps a ton! And personally, max factor 2000 calorie mascara works wonders on curled lashes! Good luck! What Makeup techniques will make my eyes appear to be bigger and stand out more?
inside the bottom lid and a thin line on the upper lid. Don't forget to use a double extend mascara for your lashes.
you put it in the inside, and use and put it on the end and corners of your eyes, it would make them look bigger, and go with a dark eye shadow like black and a shiny gray, pu the black first
use deep clear eyeliner use moisturizer to make your skin look really pale use loads of mascara
use eyeliner on the bottom lid
it will defanetly stand out with your eyes
if you ever go out make sure to use lilac eyeshadow\eyecream it will go really beautifuly with blue eyes!!!!! hope you will like my tips
';Small eyes: Don鈥檛 use too much shadow or liner 鈥?it will make you eyes look smaller. Apply a light color on eyelid, use a darker color in the crease and use a highlighter under the brow';
http://ezinearticles.com/?Makeup-Tip:--B鈥?/a>
I think i have small eyes and i use bright colors to make my eyes stand out but i do not use bottom eyeliner i just use eyeliner on the top of my lids(blue, pink or purple) it looks really pretty then instead of black mascara i use a clear one a couple of coats and this might sound weird but for eyeshadow i use a little a mean a little vaseline and put some gold powder glitter or regular sparkles and just blend put not to much. This combination will make your eyes look bright and pretty. Hope this helps.
To make eyes look bigger you should put a thin line of black eyeliner on top of your eyelid or you can put white or off-white eyeliner on the bottom eyelid. Also, you should curl your top eyelashes and put mascara to make eyes look more awake.
eyeliner and eyeshadow apply to both the upper and lower eyelid it will really make them stand out, use a bombshell color
put eyeliner on the upper lid
Tips on Eye makeup / Smokey eyes
http://homebeautytips.blogspot.com
put it on both the inside and outside.. just not so heavy on the outside.. make sure you put it on both the upper and bottom lid as well.. make sure to use a good mascara and possibly curl your eye lashes to make them appear longer.. goodluck..
I totally agree with love2figu...
Careful with the eyeliner under and over the eye. Smudge the liner if you think you need. Highlighting just under the brow will give your eye a ';lift.';
use dark colors for eyeshadow.
dont put the eyeliner on the inside of ur eye coz that makes them look smaller, rather just line it on the outside edge where ur eyelashes are and would also be a good idea to get white eyeliner and use that to line the inside coz it gives u a wide awake look. if you like you can also do the top of ur eye on the outside edges with a clean line but nevr to both top and bottom at the same time. good luck. :))
OK...First of all..do NOT use eyeliner at all on the bottom of your lid. Use a liquid liner on the top lid as close to the lash line as possible. Use a very good mascara and be sure to curl your lashes. This will make your eyes appear a bit larger and wide open.
Highlight with a light color just underneath your brow. Use a light color over the rest of your eyelids. I would ONLY use eyeliner on the outer bottom edges of your eyes, and I would use a light hand and a smudge effect. Don't use black liner whatever you do. With blue eyes, I'd use a soft brown. Use mascara and then after the first coat dries, reapply mascara in the middle of your upper and lower lashes. There you go! Your eyes will pop!
below your crease apply a light color , on crease apply a medium dark brown and below the brow use white apply mascara apply a light brown eyeliner on lower lash line and smudge so its not obvious that should work
Eyelinerz: White or black
make a think lining with both it make your eyes pop out a little more
Most important is to be sure you have well shaped eyebrows that ethicise your eye shape.
using lots of eyeliner will just close up and shrink your eyes, never apply ti inner eyelid unless you have big eyes and want to make them smokey!!!
*first moisturise your skin and apply concealer to diminish dark circles
*then apply a pale creamy shade of shadow (generally a few shades lighter than your skin tone) from the top lash line up to the brow bone. (right up to the eyebrow basically) ensure this is blended well around the edges (use a brush) so there鈥檚 no harsh lines.
*then choose a contrast colour for shading either a peach or dusky pink to bring out the blue tones in your eyes, or darker shades for evening if desired.
*again using a brush apply the contrast shade to the socket line (basically the crease line in-between the lid and the brow bone) start at the outer corner blending in towards the inner corner, again blend blend blend!!! so there鈥檚 no harsh lines.
*choose a colour to highlight a pale gold would be lovely with blue eyes, apply a heavy dot of this to the inner corner of the eye which will really open them up and make them sparkle.
* then apply thinner application of the highlighter to the brow bone
*i would use a brown/black liquid eye liner to apply a very thin line starting at the inner corner, extend the line flicking it out slightly at the out corner
*Then use a pair of corner eye lash curlers to further open up the eyes
*use a dark brown lengthening mascara rather than thickening mascara. apply 1-2 coats concentrating on the upper outer corner lashes.
*only apply a small amount of mascara to the bottom lashes!!
there you go Wah La perfect big sparkly eyes!!!
If you have small eyes you never want to put eyeline INSIDE your lid as this has the effect of making eyes look smaller. To make your eyes look larger you want to shadow correctly to make them pop. First cover your entire lid in a neutral eyeshadow shade (like beige or taupe), and use a brown shadow (apply with an angled brush) in the creases at the outer corder of your eyes and blend. The effect you are looking for is that the shadow deepens the crease at the outer corner of your eye making it look larger. Then you lightly line the under eye (under the lashes, not inside the rim), and blend to make a softer line. Use a soft highlight right in the middle of your eyelid (like a light gold shadow or whitish shimmer) to make your eyes pop.
You never want to use black eyeliner all around your lid or inside your lid as this will make your eyes small and cavernous. Highlight in strategic areas, and shadowing in the crease and outside half of your lid will bring your eyes forward.
i would use a thin liquid liner on the top, making sure to extend just past your eyelash line and staying as close to the lashes as possible.
';Small eyes: Don鈥檛 use too much shadow or liner 鈥?it will make you eyes look smaller. Apply a light color on eyelid, use a darker color in the crease and use a highlighter under the brow';

Careful with the eyeliner under and over the eye. Smudge the liner if you think you need. Highlighting just under the brow will give your eye a ';lift.';
use dark colors for eyeshadow.
dont put the eyeliner on the inside of ur eye coz that makes them look smaller, rather just line it on the outside edge where ur eyelashes are and would also be a good idea to get white eyeliner and use that to line the inside coz it gives u a wide awake look. if you like you can also do the top of ur eye on the outside edges with a clean line but nevr to both top and bottom at the same time. good luck.

How do you apply makeup for someone with chinky eyes?
My best friend is 100% Korean and has REALLY chinky eyes.
She doesn't even have that fold everyone has.
And she's always complaining how she can't put on makeup because of it.
So ... how do you apply makeup for someone with chinky eyes?
Thanks. How do you apply makeup for someone with chinky eyes?
Chinky is one of my favorite words!
Tell her to use a darker shade where her crease should be and a light shade on her lid and just below her brows. Use white (not black) eyeliner on the ';waterlines';. Use curling mascara. Have round slightly arched eyebrows. How do you apply makeup for someone with chinky eyes?

Your use of the word 'Chinky' is racist. Your friend may not be bothered or may have learned to deal with racism by pretending it doesn't matter, but you use the term 'chinky eyes' to describe the eyes of a whole race of people, not just her in this instance. Chinky is often used derogatively and to stereotype and you have just endorsed and promoted that, even if in ignorance.
Oddly, in an earlier question you describe yourself as Chinese?
I'm a proud asian, and I actually have big eyes and the ';fold';, actually called a crease.
But I have some friends that don't, and my biggest suggestion is don't use dark makeup too much above the eye, but enough to actually see some of it, and use a light color to highlight the browbone. BLEND BLEND BLEND. Try to line the eyes on the waterline, which is the place behind your eyelashes, so the eyeliner doesn't make the look too harsh, lining on the waterline, or the ';inside'; as some people call it, looks more natural and makes eyes look bigger, find an eyeliner that won't sting your eyes, and try a mascara that isn't too black, maybe soft black or dark brown.
Don't use the word ';chinky'; since that's rather rude/offensive.
Just say that she has smaller, almond shaped eyes?
Apply black eyeliner on the lashline. Then white eyeliner on the waterline to make your eyes stand out.
For eyeshadow, you should extend it to the browbone (since she doesn't have a crease). Eyeshadow should be a neutral light color, that's a few shades lighter than her skin tone.
And don't forget the mascara! Dark, volumizing, lengthening BLACK mascara will make anyone's eyes POP!
Curling the eyelashes is a great way to make her eyes apear more open. She shouldn't use dark eyeshadows or wear eyeliner on her top lid... there are makeups that are called highglighters than can make her eyes apear more open or more bright and less slinty looking

Is there a way to make brown eyes brighter without using contacts or makeup?
I've seen products to make blue eyes pop, but I was wondering if there was anything for brown eyes. I have 20/20 vision so I don't need contacts. I've heard that if you wear certain shades of eyeshadow, it'll make them pop but is there any way to make them brighter without either of those?
Thanks in advanceIs there a way to make brown eyes brighter without using contacts or makeup?
Without makeup as a quick fix, you are pretty much stuck with what you were born with! Really all you can do is make sure the skin around your eyes is healthy. If you have dark circles or bags, be sure to get lots of ';beauty sleep'; and take allergy meds if you need them. Even if you don't wear makeup, you can wear a face moisturizer with a little bit of shimmer in it (NOT glitter, just a little something to reflect the light). If you have very heavy or very low eyebrows, consider shaping them with tweezers. Just pluck the stray hairs on the underside of your brows near the eye. That can really make your eyes look wider. Also, even if you are old enough to do so, don't smoke or drink too much- doing so can cause the whites of your eyes to turns a yellowish color. Is there a way to make brown eyes brighter without using contacts or makeup?
Drink gallons and gallons of water!
Just exaggerating! 8-12 glasses everyday is good!
enough sleep!!! and some good under eye moisturiser to make your skin look brighter round your eyes which will make your eyes brighter
tea bags, cucumber, eye cream, x
i dont think so but try cucumbers

How to make blue eyes look prettier with makeup?
I have like really weirdly rare blue eyes. They are normal blue with a white circle in the blue, and the color is surrounded by a dark blue. They dont stand out enough for me. I want them noticed more. What make up tips are going to make them pop?How to make blue eyes look prettier with makeup?
i have blue eyes to and this is what i use.
I use almay trio for blues eyeshadow. (especially the copper color) it brings out the blue in my eyes. Also you could use the middle dark shade as an eyeliner it works well but thats just an option.
Then i use black brown mascara. (i personally use covergirl last blast) but any mascara you prefer is good as long as its black brown
hope that helps:)How to make blue eyes look prettier with makeup?
Black or navy blue eyeliner should make them stand out nicely. Navy blue makes the whites of the eyes appear whiter, and makes blue eyes stand out. Also, navy blue mascara looks amazing on most people, and will bring out the dark blue in your eyes.

How can I do scene makeup for small eyes?
I understand what it looks like, but, I have fair skin, and small eyes.
What do you suggest? How can I do scene makeup for small eyes?
I would suggest maybe a bright colored eye liner (opposite of your own eye color, i.e. with brown eyes use blue or turquoise liner, or with green eyes use black eyeliner with a bright golden yellow color eyeshadow) with a neutral shimmer eyeshadow, and a black mascara to open up smaller eyes. I have the most awesome sea green liner that I looove to use (I have brown eyes). If a bright liner looks too electric, it helps to use a little black shadow/liner over it to soften it a little.
If you want a darker or smokier look (personally I think the bright colored look is better for ';scene';) I would go with a heavy black liner and mascara with a neutral matte color (gray or a light charcoal would be my choice) and a shimmery silver right under the brow.
If this doesn't look good with your particular skin color (not sure how fair your skin is), you can always use blush or bronzer and blend it well enough to make you look a little more tanned. Hope this helps! How can I do scene makeup for small eyes?
put a thin line of pencil eyeliner ( liquid works too) on bottom lashes. then on ur eyelid put thick liquid eyeliner. the for pale skin try some goldish bron or light pink eyeshadow.

My bf hates it when I wear makeup and tells me that I dont need it....awwwww..
My eyes water alot when Im doing my makeup. Especially my eye shadow.?
does this happen to anyone else? Is there a trick to stop it?My eyes water alot when Im doing my makeup. Especially my eye shadow.?
Try changing brands. Maybe you're allergic to the one you're using now. And are you sure you meant eye shadow? Usually it's eye liner...But if it really is eyeshadow, you should try changing brands. Also, everyone's eyes water a little when putting on eye makeup. But if it's just your makeup in general? I think it's allergies. My eyes water alot when Im doing my makeup. Especially my eye shadow.?
your eyeshadow must be too loose. wet your brush then apply your eyeshadow that way the powder wouldn't fall into your eyes.
maybe you are having a lergic reaction to the makeup.try a different brand
sounds like maybe you are allergic to your eye makeup. try something hypoallergenic. otherwise, you would need to try to figure out what the trigger is (for example, is it touching your eyelid, or seeing something come toward your eye). i look far away when i am putting on my makeup (look in the mirror, figure out where you are going with the makeup, then look away just before you do it) so that i don't feel like i am about to shove something in my eye. hope that helps.
Sometimes because I have sensitive eyes. YOu have really sensitive eyes so try putting eye drops in before you do your make-up. I use baush and lomb Opcon-A eye drops and they work really well. Keep your eyes closed and head back it will burn but that means its cleansing your eyes and after the burn they will water a lot to get out all the irritation in your eyes. Then put on your make-up when your eyes are all clear!
yes but not wiht eyehadow maybe its the eyeliner thats what i thought but it isnt cuz even when i dont wear eyeliner on bottom they still water try putting some teabags over ur eyes 4 like 5 min hopefully it will work on yu
You are most probably allergic to that particular brand
You have allergy to the products that you are using. Do not use gel or liquid shadows. A lot of people have allergies to those. Use MAC or Loreal powder shadows.
maybe you're getting the makeup in your eye when you're applying. Tap the brush a little to get the excess shadow off of it. If it continues, perhaps try a different brand. Maybe you're allergic?
You might be allergic to the make up, or you might have sensitive eyes. It's very common, especially if you wear contacts. Try using hypoallergenic products (it's indicated on the box, and all companies make them), and try using cream shadow instead of powdered or loose shadow. Do not apply eyeliner on the inside rim of the eyelid if your eyes water, it'll only make it worse.
it means you are allergic to your eyeshadow. buy a different brand maybe an expensive one...Or you just could have very sensitive eyes...yes that does happen to someone i know, she just cant wear any eye shadow.
do you poke yourself in the eye? cause that would make your eyes water! learn how to apply make-up!

What shape are my eyes, and what makeup would go best with them?
http://i382.photobucket.com/albums/oo263鈥?/a>
What shape are my eyes? What are some good eyeliners, eyeshadow, mascara, anything that would look good with them. I have tried eyeliner, but my eyes are so dark that it looks grey instead of black, and really gross.
Thanks! What shape are my eyes, and what makeup would go best with them?
Your eyes are an almond eye with a small touch of hooded eye and possibly can be considered slightly prominent.
I'd recommend a dark dark dark brown colored eyeliner. Smudge it around, dark eyes look great with a smudgy look. If you smudge it and it doesn't look right, you can put some dark dark dark brown eyeshadow on the outside corner of your eye on the top lid, following the eyeliner.
You could probably pull off almost any eyeshadow, although I wouldn't recommend pink, blue, or gray.
Put on lots of mascara and possibly even consider some natural looking fake eyelashes, however this is optional. Dark eyes look great with long lashes.
Have fun with makeup! =]What shape are my eyes, and what makeup would go best with them?
almond shaped eyes, stick with browns pinks blacks and golds or neutrals, if you must do blue use very dark blue like a navy blue. mac and lancome i find has good eye shadows, and use liquid eyeliner if it does not show up dark enough i use l'oreal liner intense from ulta its very dark. max factor has good mascaras and be sure to use an eyelash curler. also if you eye makeup disappears use eye shadow base, urban decay has an amazing one for like 17 dollars...good luck!
your eyes look alot like my girlfriends, she does a black eyeliner %26amp; mascara, and alot of purple or dark green eye shadow on her eyelids, its a very attractive look, hope it helps.
You have droopy eyes. I would just use black eyeliner, mascara. And maybe eyeshadow if you want.
maybe try a bronze/gold eyeliner with alot of mascara! that will brighten up your eye area.

How to do makeup with Brown Eyes?
My eyes are brown. I want to use makeup to make them stand out more, and look bigger. Any suggestions? How to do makeup with Brown Eyes?
I would use pink eyeshadow on lids and then brown on the crease and then a cream color above that. How to do makeup with Brown Eyes?
outlining your with a violet or pink eyeliner and a volume mascara always looks beautiful
ok so i also have brown eyes %26amp; well i use alot of dark colors to make them stand out....i also use liquid eyeliner on top of my lid %26amp; then pencil eyeliner under my eyes!!! well if u have a myspace check out my pics so u could see for urself....myspace.com %26amp; search for favi hernandez
good luck!!!
The bigger and blacker your eyelashes are, the more your eyes will stand out.
Use some Ebony colored eyeliner available in most brands. It will let the natural shades of your eyes stand out. Also, you may want to use some brighter colors for your eyeshadow because it will really contrast with your eyes.
Use colors like bronze and lighter browns for a warm glow. use pink on the lids, and a darker brown in the crease of you eyes and then lighter brown from there up to your brow bone. You may also want to try eyeliner. Be careful and dont use too much or it will be an overload for your face, you want to wear the makeup, dont let the makeup wear you.
brown eyeliner. and lots of mascara
almay!!!! they make eye shadow for all eye colors and it does really make them stand out and look good i have blue eyes and it works for me! its 6 bucks at wal mart!!
Well I have brown eyes %26amp; my sister is a makeup artist. She says that brown-eyed girls look really good in bronze, mocca and any kind of browns. You can even mix it up with some deep blue. It looks really good.
i have heard that purple really brings out brown eyes. my best friend uses it, and it really works. also, navy blue. don't put too much on though, just a little.myspaces.com

Good eye and face makeup?
What is some good eye shadows that do not smear? so that they will stay on all day?
also, what is some really good coverup that looks natural and covers up small but a lot of pimples?Good eye and face makeup?
hey for the coverup try revlon color-stay its really good! and for eyeshadow i recomend bonbelle it stays on all day!Good eye and face makeup?
I would say MAC eyeshadow is really good.. and if you want your eyeshadow to stay on all day, than i would recommend using primer for your eyelids, it helps alot!
Victoria Jackson is a very good make up brand,
all of her make up stays on up to 16 hours,
and i would recomend not to wear any foundation for spots, but dream matt mouse is really good and they have a lot of tones to patch your skin

How do u apply makeup to ur eyes and cheek?
wat do u put on first and wat is the best makeup remover that can be found in the home? How do u apply makeup to ur eyes and cheek?
apply color on cheek bones first
(if you are fair skinned use a bit of bronzer)
for eyes apply liquid foundation first
for smooth application
then apply darker color lid and brown bone
that will give you a laid back and cool look
How do u apply makeup to ur eyes and cheek?
eyeliner- apply to the base of your eyelashes. you can also apply to your waterline like i do but if you already have smaller eyes, dont.
eyeshadow- pick 2 colours that are relatively close. put the lighter shade in corner of your eye, n blend the other on the eyelid.
mAscara- only apply 2 coats to the top eyelashes, that makes your eyes appear more open.
blush- is simple, smiling help guide where to apply. lightl y add the the apples of your cheeks.
ponds is the best to me
here is the secret to perfect foundation:
1. use the nuetrogena wave. it may not get rid of your acne, but it will exfoliate your skin and make your makeup go on WAY smoother
2. mix http://www.amazon.com/Almay-Makeup-Mediu鈥?/a> with an oil-free moisturizer and apply it to your face, but do not rub it in.
3. use latex-free makeup sponges. they work freaking wonders, and they're only $3 for a huge bag. use the makeup sponge to rub in the foundation, blending especially around your jaw and hairline so that your skin looks natural.
4. use http://www.walgreens.com/store/pickcolor鈥?/a> (make sure the color is correcting green) on your pimples, again not rubbing it in. use the other side of the sponge to rub it in.
5. finish with a small amount of loose powder all over your face.
here is the secret to perfect eyes:
1. do not use eyeshadow unless it is a special occasion. it just makes you look fake.
2. do not use maskara if you have a dark complextion. no matter what kind you buy, your eyelashes will clump slightly. instead, just use the brush to brush out your lashes. they will look better natural. with a light complexion, use clear or light brown.
3. I can't tell you what color to use, but on the issue of eyeliner:
I don't know if you can do this, but under your top lashes is a space similar to the place where you apply the bottom liner. I'm able to outline this instead of over the lashes, and the line is always perfect.
for cheeks:
add a little powder bronzer or pink. don't go overboard.
well if u dont put on any foundation than you can put either one on first . but if you do than you should put on blush first but really it doesnt matter.and benzoyl peroxide is the best thing found in an average home that will remove makeup and not only that it will prevent breakouts too.
:] hope i could help.
Well what make up are you talking? Eyeliner? Eyeshadow? Both?
I start with the eyes. And when I put on eyeliner I put it as close to my eye as possible. But if you are just beginning that wouldn't be a good idea...it is kind of ticklish. But get it as close to your eye as you want. and just play around with your make up. That is how you learn. Just test things out.
For how to apply makeup i would look online at Youtube, its better if you can see someone do it. And for the best makeup remover at home, babywhipes, water and little soap, not much I can think of im sure theres some tricks out there.. google it
idont so I have more time for more important things and when you get older that makeup you use today will clog block and harm your skin so be natural go naked and let you good natural looks shine through.. Have a good day from Sandy in Australia.
a baby wipe takes makeup off good.
1.put on spf moisturizer
2. put a sheer cream or white all over the eye
3. put a darker color of your choise in the crease of your eye
4. mascara
5. apply blush on the apples of your cheeks (smile and you'll see them)
for ur cheecks apply bronzer, for ur eyes i suggest a dark sparkly grey eyeshadow, black eyliner on the top eyelid and lashblast mascara. for makeup remover get the wave it removes makeup and washes ur face.
blush first - foundation / powder / whatever you use, than blush, and than eyes and than lips. Make up remover... I use lotion. I take my make-up off with that and than use soap to wash my face.
the best natural make up remover would be almond oil it adds vitamins to the skin and literally melts away the make up
Use toner.
well it depends on what u want to look like and normal bar soap with a wash rag is what i use
ok

Help meeeeh!!!!!!!!Makeup ideas for my eye color (pictures included)?
blue/green- brown
these will bring out the eyes. and create the allusion of a larger, more fuller eye.
do a soft stick liner smudge it into the
lashes for the top lid and into the waterline for the bottom.
(oh and only apply the eye shadow to the lid.)
do small streaks of mascara on the lashes.
try a nice cover up/ counselor
do a soft blusher with lip balm or lip gloss.
maybe a highlight in the corner of the eye or under the brow.
only do what works for you best. by the way, for the eye liner, start with stick liner and then work your way up to liquid once you think that you are ready. L.O.L. you need mad skills to use dat.
I hope that I helped you! :)

How do you get makeup to not smear under your eyes?
When ever I wear any mascara or eyeliner it always smears underneath my eyes. Does anyone have any ideas to make it so that this doesnt happen? Also if anyone has any other makeup tricks, exspecially eyeliner, id love to hear it!How do you get makeup to not smear under your eyes?
Liquid liner! It's hard to learn at first but it is an amazing thing! Oils in your skin react badly to pencil eyeliners and it causes it to smear one of the things to lightly help this is dabbing on a little foundation along with powdered color up before applying. Liquid however is the best answer I can give you. For a beginner use a felt tip (NOT THE BRUSH! THAT THING IS WAY TO HARD!) liner it looks like a weird triangle eiffle tower deal. Anyways! To help you get used to it you can use your stick liner first and then trace around it with the liquid HOWEVER! Liquid liner takes a few seconds to dry so DONT OPEN YOUR EYES ALL THE WAY FOR A FEW MOMENTS! Lol Good luck and stay beautiful! How do you get makeup to not smear under your eyes?
if your talking about eyeliner then: get a eyeliner twist up pen that has a smudger on the end then you could use that it works or only put the yeliner on your waterline if you rtalking about eyeshadow then make sure your using good make up or you might want to switch to cream eyshadows or if your talking about mascara then you have to let it dry after you appl y and dont blink if your talking about fallout on your eyelashes then use an eyebrow brush and wipe it with that and dont use mineral wear eye shadow make up
i had that same problem, although i found a a great eyeliner i can't seem to find a good waterproof mascara!
Try using covergirl outlast smoothwear eyeliner, its amazing. I do karate and i get really sweaty (gross i know) and it dosen't smear! Most amazing product ever! look at the reviews! %26gt; http://www.covergirl.com/products/produc鈥?/a> ( i bought the shade smoke!)
as for the mascara you could try using a clear mascara (unless you have blonde lashes) so if it smears you don't see it, or but vaseline over your mascara, i've heard that it will help it from smearing while moisturizing!
good luck, let me know if you find a good waterproof mascara!
As for tips, don't tug on the skin surronding your eyes, it will give you bad wrinkles in the future!
To brighten your eyes try a mascara with glitter in it or try using white eyeliner!
Never pump your macara up and down (trying to get more mascara on the brush) , air will get in the bottle and dry it out, instead try twisting the brush back and forth!
thats all i can think of right now, too tired lol
You can apply your eyeliner and mascara as normal, but set your eyeliner with a black eyeshadow. It reduces (sometimes completely stops) smudging from occurring.
For mascara, you should get a waterproof mascara like Covergirl Lashblast. It's a great non smudging mascara.
Good luck!
Its either urban decay or two faced that makes this stuff you can put over your currant eyeliner and mascara and it seals it so it doesn't come off.Or if it really bothers you, use waterproof mascara and eyeliner.
use primer. Urban decay has the best. http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a> Also, putting a little powder under your eyes will catch the smear.

i had that same problem, although i found a a great eyeliner i can't seem to find a good waterproof mascara!
Any one know any good makeup tips for the eyes?
I'm in need of a change of makeup for my eyes. I want them to appear more beautiful, noticeable, and even bigger. Any tips whether it's about eyeliner, shadow or anything would be greatly appreciated. =]Any one know any good makeup tips for the eyes?
I do! I recently totally re-vamped my eye make-up to make bigger, more beautiful eyes.
Before I went with simple eyeliner, mascara, and maybe some neutral shadow.
Now, I totally changed it and like it so much better! For bigger more intense eyes, drop the eyeliner! Trust me, I LOVE eyeliner and never went a day without it, until recently. I changed my eye make-up completely. I picked out some colors that work well on me. I love purple since it makes my green eyes bold. Experiment, and you'll find a color you love! Choose a few shades of one color. Sweep your entire eye with the lightest shade, the outer edge of your lid with the darker shade, and the inner lid with a metallic of the same or similar shade. Use white eyeshadow on the inner corners to bring our your eyes. The most important step is to BLEND the colors together to get a fading effect. Take white, or the lightest shade possible and swipe your lower lashes. Next, find the blackest mascara possible. Give your top lashes a few generous swipes, and if you're up to it, get a nice clean swipe on your lower lashes. Your eyes will POP and the color does NOT have to be dramatic. It's so much nicer than heavy liner!
The mascara and white corners will make your eyes appear bigger, the whites of your eye appear whiter, and your color will seem brighter! Good luck!
I AGREE! Great Lash is THE mascara. It's the ONLY thing I use and it makes my lashes beautiful! People have to make sure that they're not fake! Haha. Depending on where you get it, or if it comes in a pack of two, it's $3-$6 a bottle. They even make waterproof. Go for ';Blackest Black'; for the most intense look!Any one know any good makeup tips for the eyes?
Lucky girl (I assume girl,) there's a lot you can do to make blue eyes sparkle! For starters, coat your entire eyelid (lash to brow) with a layer of concealer. Even if you aren't extending color all the way up to your brow, it gives you a cleaner, brighter look. It will also help your makeup colors pop, stay in place, and not fade throughout the day.
Stick with light colors on your lid. Same rule of thumb applies to make-up as it does with clothes: dark colors give the illusion of smallness, while brighter colors give the illusion of bigness. Keep this in mind, too, when you are applying eyeliner. Instead of drawing a line all the way across your lid, which will minimize your eyelid, start at the outer third of your lashline (a good landmark is where the iris ends,) and extend it outwards past your eye, angling the line up once you've extended past your eye.
If you absolutely must have eyeliner on your lower lid, apply it ONLY to the outer corner, and never connect the lines on your top and bottom lid. This will make your eyes appear smaller.
Back to lighter colors. Blue eyes look great with lavenders, light pinks, classic browns, golds, even greens. If you are using 2-3 colors, start wtih the lightest color first. Apply it all over your eyelid, and right under your eyebrow on your browbone. Take your next darkest color, and lightly layer it in the crease of your eye either all the way across for a more dramatic effect, or only on the outer third of your crease, blending a small amount on the outer third of your eyelid. This will give the illusion of dimension, making your eye seem bigger.
And of course, always use mascara. Concentrate it on the outer third of your lashes to make your eye seem longer. Use it evenly all over your lashes to make them seem more open. I recommend a light layer on your lower lashes. Heavy, volume-building mascaras can give you a ';bedroom-eye'; look, whereas mascaras that lengthen, define, and separate will make your eyes look bigger and brighter.
I would suggest looking on youtube.com There are TONS of great makeup tutorials with all different brands of makeup. http://www.youtube.com/user/itsjudytime is a great one, she makes the tutorials really easy!!
I would also suggest looking at pursebuzz.com She has everything you need to know about hair and makeup. So much info!!
- Gold pencil on the lids and inner part of the eyelid also make the eyes look bigger
- If you also want to make your eyes appear wider, make your eyeliner thicker towards the edges of your eyes.
- Get an eye makeover, at any department store at the makeup department. Ask them for various colors to use to make your eyes look larger. They are there to help!!
Depending on what your eye color is, use eyeshadow that compliments. Lighter shades since darker shades minimize your eyes. Experiment with makeup and have fun with it!
I think it depends on what color your eyes are. I know for Brown eyes they say to use purple eye shadow, or even blue eyeliner. For green they say go with browns. For blue i think they usually recommend charcoals or silver if you want a little extra attention.
BEST MASCARA: Great Lash, i think thats what its called, its the Pink %26amp; Green tube by maybelline. Its totally affordable and soooo good!
smoky eyes make your eyes stand out and looks amazing, although takes some time to do. here is a link to show you how to do them :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0NkeFxTX鈥?/a>
i usually do mine like that if I'm going out or something, but on a day-to-day basis, i usually just wear mascara, and either liquid eyeline on my top lids, or kohl eyeliner round the rims of my eyes (this makes your eyes stand out quite alot!)
i hope this helps :)

Try these and remember to use primer. Contour alot. And keep your brows waxed and use a white shadow on your brow bone to highlight and in the corners of your eyes.
mix 2 colours together ex: pink purple or beige and brown etc whatever your mood is that day and by the way if you apply a subtle brown below the brow is enlarges the eye
