What kind of makeup would look good on brown eyes?

I have really really light brown eyes.

somewhat short eyelashes and brown/blond hair.

I'm more into the darker looks.

But I'm totally open to new things.

I LOVE eyeliner and mascara.

any tips would really really help!

for your lids try gray, for your crease try turquoise, and for your lash line try brown. What kind of makeup would look good on brown eyes?
I especially like the smoky eye look for brown eyes, but instead of using plain black, blend a rich brown/gold colour and sweep from the outer lids in, using a soft brush. Don't overdo it or it will look too much. Use a dark brown eyeliner, I prefer pencil (liquid can look too harsh) or a really small thin brush and a dark eyeshadow to line the eyes. Then use a good waterproof mascara, like Max Factor False Eyelash Effect. Complete the look with a light pink lip gloss, I think this makes eyes look big and gorgeous, and quite a playful innocent look.
Apply your makeup as usual (i.e. foundation, concealer and powder).

Using a large eyeshadow brush, apply your Ivory shadow all over the eyelid. Make sure to apply this from just below the brow line to the top lashline.

**For added emphasis, use a shimmer taupe eyeshadow.

Next, apply the darker of the eyeshadows (the emerald green) to the outer corner of each eyelid and blend in towards the inner corner. Make sure not to apply this any higher than just below the brow bone.

**Smooth out any harsh edges with your eyeshadow brush you used in step 2.

Now, using either your finger or a small eyeshadow brush, dab a small amount of your burnt orange eyeshadow to the center of your eyelid. Blend this into the inner corner of the eye and smooth out any harsh edges.

Apply your brown/black eyeliner (either pencil or gel). Make a thin line across the lash line (it can be heavier for evening) and smudge to avoid a harsh finish. Top with your brown/black mascara to finish the look.

Thats for eyes. For lips, since your playing up the eyes a little bit,use a nude shade (light brown, light pink, ect.)
So this season is all about the blue smokey eye, which is one of my favorite colors for a dramatic smokey eye look! I think it looks fabulous! And i also think that everyone can pull this off. The main key is to be confident and smile. Also make sure that your eyes get all the attention so the rest of your makeup should be some what natural looking.
