Help on putting on makeup, please, especially eye shadow.?

i haven't been wearing makeup for long, and i don't really know how to do it. please help!Help on putting on makeup, please, especially eye shadow.?
Find a liquid foundation that is lighter than your skin tone to help cover up redness, under-eye circles, and blemishes.

Apply to face and let dry before adding a powder layer on top (if you do it while it's wet, it dries together and looks horrible). The powder should be your skin tone. Make sure this is even.

As far as eyeliner goes, apply at a slant to the upper lids first, starting from the inside. On the bottom, start from the outer part and work your way about half-way in, but don't make it too dark. Most eyeliners have a soft tip to blend the liner in. Use it to erase mistakes and blend up/down into lashes. I am listing a site that will show you how to do awesome eye effects....enjoy!!Help on putting on makeup, please, especially eye shadow.?
First conceal all blemishes using concealer and finger, foundation mixed with oil-free moisturizer apply on face like lotion. Set by lightly brushing powder over face. Blush, turn mouth to opposite side of face and lightly sweep upward from cheek to hairline. For rosier cheeks smile and brush where needed. Dont overdue the blush. Eye shadow 3 color min. lightest apply directly under eyebrow or whole lid with more accent under eyebrow. 2nd darkest shade apply to lid as if you were closing your eye going no farther than the crease of your eyelid, the darkest accent crease by lighly sweeping from inner eyelid to outer no farther than your eyebrow though. Always brush eyebrows or pencil in any holes and if you dont use eyeliner at least on bottom, mascara to make your eyes pop.
I like to use the 3 or 4 in one eyeshadow kits. They usually have simple instructions on the back. Included is usually a shimmer and a light color and a dark color. Use the color closest to your skin tone to cover your eyelid especially putting the lighter color under your brow to lift and define. then put the shimmer close to your eye and in the corner of your eye. The middle tone I would use a small fluffy brush and put it between. Sometimes I put a dark color at the edge. Then when I apply my eyeliner it blends well at the corners of my eyes. So you have a nice gradient look with some shimmer and some color. Just look in some magazines for some ideas. I dont really like liquid eye shadow but some do.
opt for air brush foundation that you can stipple on with a sponge...then do a normal face routine...blush to the apples of the cheecks and light eye liner w/mascara...top of w/lip gloss and your ready to go...
With eyeshadow I would use the powder kind.It usually comes with an applicater and just swipe eyeshadow across the lid and not over the crease of your eye.If your going to wear eyeliner i would start off using pencil b/c it's easier, liquid takes some practice :) With fondation I would choose a color a shade darker than your natural skin color b/c it hides redness and pimples. With mascara i would only do two swipes on both eyes so it looks natural instead of clumpy.
An easy way to see where eye shadow will should be dark and then light for a natural look is to sit with a lamp in front of you (not too bright) and hold a mirror slightly lower than your face and look down into it. This will show your natural shadow area and is good for using simple natural colours. However, the fashion these days is to use a colour with sparkle on the whole lid (only the bit that covers your eyeball) and the rest of the area up to your eyebrow with just a hint of pale shadow.

Do what I still do even now, and have a 'playing with my make-up night' and try out all different styles to see what suits you and how make-up can change the shape and look of your face and how you feel about your appearance!
