How to you make your eyes look dark with makeup without looking like a racoon because of your light skin?

Try using different shades of gray. I have pale skin as well and when I do a ';smokey'; eye I usually blend a lighter gray/white (inner eyelid) to a darker gray to a little bit of black on the corner crease of my eyelid. Followed by eyeliner (usually black or DARK brown) and mascara :)

Use a duskier bronze, and blend into the lashline, and move upward. Then blend the crease using a darker brown. You can never go wrong with brown. Also, if you have lighter skin, it won't be so overpowering. Finish with a highlight of a snowy white powder in the corner of the eye for dimension. gently rub the side of a small blush brush into the darker shade and put begin to apply at the outter most edge of your eye and outbrow. Pull wonward in an insweeping motion.
