summer is here and my eye shadows dont last all day, any tips?


also ive seen something like a pen that ppl use on their eyes before putting make up on, what is it?

Put a little moistruizer or foundation on your eyelids (just be careful not to get it in your eyes obviously!) and then apply.





Or you can go buy an actual primer that keeps eyeshadow on longer.





Or, you can use Carmex chapstick. I know it sounds silly, but it not only primes lips, it primes soft skin like eyelids too!!

It's called an eyeshadow primer.





There are various ones, the most known being Urban Decay Primer Potion (better for oily lids) and Too Faced Shadow Insurance (good for dry lids) Both can be bought at Sephora, under 20 dollars





Foundation will likely not help, since the oils on the lids will mess with the foundation and cause more creasing. Same as with concealer.

I use mark. Matte-nificent Oil Absorbing Powder as a primer and it lasts all day.

I love the Urban Decay primer potion. I have oily lids and eye makeup would be creased mid day. This leaves my eye makeup looking great all day-even when I accidently fall sleep with it on. LOL.
once u apply your foundation, apply a face powder on your eyelids. it holds the shadow longer.
You should use eye primer. The kind I use is from Ulta, but I'm sure any brand would be good.

iv tired using powder over my eyes.. as a primer..


it doesnt last long... what lasts longer is makeup primer...


not powder.. look for makeup primer in walmart.. all of them pretty much work..
