Is there any makeup tips that can make eyes appear larger?

I'm looking for makeup tips to make my eyes look larger, and also which eye shadow colors goes best with brown eyes. Thank you! Is there any makeup tips that can make eyes appear larger?
Always curl lashes before applying mascara. You can actually curl lashes AFTER mascara is applied, as long as your mascara is dried (a good tip to know if you want to curl your lashes later in the day without removing your mascara).

Don't forget your bottom lashes. For years I avoided mascara on them until a makeup expert showed me how much mascara on my lower lashes really make my eyes pop. I rarely go without now. To apply mascara on lower lashes, hold the brush vertically, then sweep it back and forth.

Individual false lashes are exotic, gorgeous and can look natural if applied correctly. Large cities offer ';lash bars'; in the hottest department stores. If they're too long, you can trim them with scissors.

For a doe-eyed, seductive look lining your lower lids with a creamy white eye pencil.

White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.

Another way to open up eyes is to skip the white eyeliner and opt instead for a platinum highlighter. Dot along the browbone, then blend in. Apply highlighter at the inner corners of your eyes. Follow with eye shadow.

Make sure your brows are manicured. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger.

I find once you get a professional brow job, you can do it yourself for a few months using the pro job as a ';map'; of where to tweeze. To keep brows in place, try a clear eyebrow gel, clear mascara or just spritz a bit of hairspray onto an old toothbrush and brush brows in perfect place.

If you are Asian and have small eyes like me, you probably have tried different methods to make your eyes look larger. What makes it more of a reason to do so is if you also have single eyelids. This is because most Asians have more of a fatty deposit in the area between their eyebrows and their eyelids. I have found that there a few different tricks you can do to create a look that will make your eyes appear more large and dramatic.

First, line your eyes with a waterproof or long lasting eyeliner preferably in black, which creates a more dramatic look. You will want to line the rims of your eyes (the inside portion of eye above the bottom lashes and the portion of the eye below the top lashes). You could either use an eye pencil or a liquid eyeliner. I have found that with a liquid eyeliner it is easier to line the top portion of the inner rim of your eye, but can be more difficult when lining the portion above your top lashes and the inner rim portion of your bottom lashes unless you have continuous practice and maintain a steady hand. An eye pencil is much easier to use, but may not be as bold as liquid eyeliner if you are looking for a more dramatic look.

Next, use a lengthening and volumizing mascara in the darkest color available and apply as many coats necessary or desired to create a more dramatic look. I have noticed that if you have sparse lashes there really is no need to apply mascara on your bottom lashes since there are so few anyway and the eyeliner will have already filled in the effect. Also, I noticed that if you let your lashes dry in between every few coats, the dramatic look will build more quickly and effectively instead of piling one coat after another continuously and you end up having those awful ';spider leg'; looking lashes.

Placing a dark liner or shadow on the outer corners of the eyes (on both the bottom and top lids) will make you eyes appear larger. Just make sure you're only doing it on the outer fourth of the eye and no more. Also, place the shadow or liner as close to your lashline as possible. Using a white or off-white liner in your waterline will also help your eyes appear larger. And of course, mascara.

Brown eyes can pull pretty much any color off...just play with plums, bronzes, and forest greens to start out with.
Too heavy eyeliner can make your eyes appear smaller. On your top lash line, apply eyeliner from about the center of your eyelid to the outer corner. I always wing my eyeliner which (on my eye shape) always looks hot.

All my sisters have brown eyes, and from what I've seen any color can look hot on brown. Purple really accentuates brown eyes, but make sure you have a flattering shade :)
This is my favorite trick for a no-makeup look that gives you huge eyes.

1. Line your upper lid only with white eyeliner. Blend well.

2. Curl your lashes, then apply black mascara. I love Givenchy Phenomen'eyes, but I also like L'oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black.

3. Put a tiny dot of clear lip gloss right on your brow bone. Make sure it's not super-sticky.

For brown eyes, I LOVE gold/bronze shades of eye shadow, but purples and greens would be lovely, too.
apply light color around the lash line and brow line...even around the tear duct. sweep neutral color in the middle/crease. then use a darker neutral (i like a burgundy) from the middle of the crease to the outer edge, fanning towards teh last line. Use ultra-think liner super close to your last line and one the inside of the lower lid, then do two coates of mascara w/ a curler, fanning the lashes out and up.
for the eyes i heard applying white eyeliner will make your eyes seem larger..and for the brown eyes question, i have brown eyes and i think Amethyst goes great!

this one is from Sephora a bit pricey for me but maybe you really like this brand

and this one goes for about $4-6 from Almay (it's the one i have)

i hope this helps!
Liquid eyeliner around your top eyelashes and NONE on the bottom will make them look larger, and also volume mascara. And brown eyes can almost pull off anything. I think they look best with: purples, pinks, browns, earthy greens, turquoise, and black. Try to avoid: white, blues, and yellows.
Try applying white eyeliner in your lower water line. Be careful though, this is a very sensitive area and it is almost touching your eye. I think a golden hazelnut goes well with brown eyes, you don't want too much contrast between your eye color and your eyeshadow.
Brown eyes just about go with every color you can imagine. Put thin white eyeliner on to make your eyes seem bigger and use mascara.
Dark balck eyeliner can do that
