How can I make my eyes look bigger with makeup?

I won't buy makeup that's over 20 dollars, and seldom over 10.

My eyes are blue.

Any ideas? How can I make my eyes look bigger with makeup?
Mascara:

You need a good routine:

1.) Comb your lashes while they're still wet with an eyelash comb. They're inexpensive; I found mine at Traget for two dollars.

2.) Curl your lashes for about 5 minutes with an eyelash curler. These are also common and affordable, mine was 4 bucks.

3.) Apply a primer. These are a bit harder to find, and a tad more expensive. I use Clinique's because it has natural conditioners and healthy proteins that help build lashes. It also preps your lashes by separating them and enhancing your mascara.

4.) Apply one coat of a healthy mascara. I suggest Neutrogena Healthy Volume. It's about 8 dollars and you can find it at Wal-Mart, Target, etc.

5.) Re-curl and re-apply if necessary. How can I make my eyes look bigger with makeup?

I love this text-tutorial (and pictures) I refer back to it when I'm stumped on what I should do for makeup...

Best of luck : )
use a lot of dark eyeshadows

black eyeliner
try just putting eyeliner on the top of your eyelid, instead of the bottom. put mascara on the bottom. too much eyeliner doesn't look that great, but when you use a decent amount it can really bring out ur eyes. try using a shimmery eyeshadow or a color tht looks good with ur blue eyes tht catches other ppls glimpses. good luck!
i have blue eyes too :)

go by some white eyeliner... its totally up to you the quality of eyeliner you want. line the inside corner of your eye. both top %26amp; bottom :) trust me it doesnt look fake it looks good! you can try some white shimmery powder or eyeshadow for a more dramatic effect

also use a volumizing mascara on ONLY your top lashes

this is what i wear daily %26amp; people comment on how huge %26amp; blue my eyes are!

hope this help :)
You want to highlight the outside of your eyes to make them look wider and bigger. Apply a lighter shadow under the brow bone. Then take the darker shadow and apply it to the outer edge of your eye in a triangle shape, with the point of the triangle at the outer corner of your eye. Cover no more than the outer third of your eyelid with the triangle. Then use a brush to blend the two colors together (critical), brushing from the outside of the eye to the inside. Use and eyeliner to line only the outer third to half of your eyelids- upper and lower. Finish with mascara. All the focus is on the outer edges of your eyes, making them look bigger.
Lots of Blackeye shadow u wil look like a goth
okay DO NOT use eyeliner. That minimizes your eyes so much. I have huge eyes and love eyeliner but if your going for big, eyeliner is not a choice. Use lengthening mascara and use dark eyeshadows. Use more than one shade to add demensions. :]
black eyeliner and a smokey eyes shaddow
White eyeliner every time under the eye works a treat, if you wanna use a darker colour stik 2 the top only. Always use an eyelash curler, and never choose an eyeshadow to match ur clothes, choose a colour that suits ur skin tone. Add highlighter underneath ur brow bone and a bit at the inner corner will brighten up the whole eye area. buy a good blending brush, use a lighter shade accross the lid, accentuate with a deeper colour alond the crease line forming a backwards c at the outer corner, and blend, blend, blend. Barry m is definately 1 of the most effective and affordable brands with a wide variety of young and trendy colours, one of my favourites has to be urban decay whos eyeliner dosnt budge
wear large prescription glasses, these tend to magnify the eyes
It is hard to tell your real skin color (from the avatar!) - I'm pale w/blue eyes - I tend to use a light nude or beige shimmer color on the lid/crease, line the upper lashes (try dark brown or navy), mascara on upper lashes (lower too if they are pale naturally). If you want more dimension on the lid, choose a taupe color for the crease - blend it out. You can get colors like this at Target/drugstores - low prices.
