I would like some advice on the best colors and methods for my daily makeup routine. I was thinking of going to Merle Norman, Dillard's, Ulta or Sephora, but I don't understand what would be the best. Any suggestions on price or place would be great. MAC. They have their own stores and they are also in other stores, such as Macy's. They're hipper than the more classic ones like Estee Lauder. They can give you advice on colors. Also if you would like to see how to apply it, they will do it for you, but you will have to buy $50 worth of makeup. They have the best colors ever, and it is less expensive than the comparable brands.
I Learned how to put on makeup at ULTA ! I Love that place,, i think that would be the best place. but i've seen my friend go to sephora to get some edvice ,, It was cheep and good, i think sephora or Ulta would be the places to go :)
personally..but its up to yu, cus everyone has a different idea about it.
Dillards would be good. My daughter's best friend just went last night and had foundation mixed for especially for her complexion. She has a light olive complexion with blue-gray eyes. They also showed her how to apply her makeup for prom which is next week.
I recommend going to Sephora. Wonderful service, they know what they are talking about, they don't rush it(a pet peeve of mine), but you will most likely end up buying something, they will convince you! Hope this helped!

How can I make my eyes look more squinty/narrow with makeup?
I feel like when I squint a little my eyes have a nicer shape to them but obviously I can't walk around like that so I was wondering is there anything I can do with makeup to make my eyes look more narrow?

well i have brown eyes too and i use a light purple, almost white eyeshadow and put eyeliner on the bottom and top of my eyes and mascara and people r always telling me that they love my eyes. i reccomend loreal or covergirl, yes they may be a bit more expensive than NYC or wetnwild, etc. but they r sure to bring ur eyes out the way u want and last most of the day.

You should also be aware of your skin tone type, just to help your selection of shade, cool, warm or neutral.
I like wearing Rimmel and Revlon products and I have shades of grey for when I am out and feeing dark and smokey. Most natural days like at work, I used shades of lightest pink and a darker rose on the lower lid. For funky times I have done extreme blues and greens with metallic flecks which I feel shows my fun side.

It totally depends on what you are wearing and how you would like to be percieved.. On average though, I would tell you to go with a smoky brown for an evening look.. If you want to go out and make people notice, soft earthtones and golds are very impressive.. For a day look, try soft neutrals and light earthtones.. If you want to make you green eyes look deeper, use a blue eyeliner to make the blue tones of your eyes stand out and use a brown eyeshadow.. And with green eyes it always looks better if you go with a dark brown mascara..

Every day, or on special ocasions or only a couple of times a year? I am curious cause putting makeup on eyes is hard, and takes up about 10 minutes and I personally dont like doing it, doe I like the end result.

I wear mascara on my top lashes pretty much every day because it's easy and doesn't look overdone. For special occasions I wear eyeshadow in different shades of the same colour as well as mascara but I never wear eyeliner because it just doesn't suit me.

Although my most usual make up routine is simply foundaiton, bronzer and mascara about once every two months on a special occasional I will use eyeshadow and eyeliner. I usually use brighter colors of eyeshadow. And if I am daring, I will use my liquid eyeliner - its difficult to get the nick of at first, but its very rewarding in the end :)
I wear eyeliner and Mascara everyday, I wear glitter eyeshadow if I'm going out.
It does take a while I spend about 10 mins applying and about 5 mins taking off. I use 4 different mascaras everyday and a liquid eyeliner on the top and pencil on the bottom I also do a speciak joining thing with the eyelineers which looks really good and highlights he eyes really well but it's difficult to get right and that takes quite a while.

I wear eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow...but not too much..a lil shine on the eyelids and some length to my lashes, and eyeliner right against your lashes can make them appear fuller and a lil more dramatic

Not really something to hide, it just makes them feel better about themselves. Why do men and women dress up for job interviews? Because the extra touch of nicer clothes adds an air of self-confidence. I am not a girl who wears a lot of make up, a touch of eye shadow and i'm good to go. (Most people I know aren't even aware that i have ANY make up on!) But I do like to paint my nails, and THAT is because it is a way to express my individuality. no you're wrong. there are many girls who are make up devotees, not because they want to hide but because it is a women's thing and they love it. people like make up artists have got nothing to hide, its just their art side. girls,..i can understand they are just experimenting. in some work places, women wearing no make up can be seen as dull, tasteless, and still got that just-out-of-bed style.
sure there are girls who wear loads of make up to hide something on their faces, they just didnt understand the purpose of make up. make up is for enhancing your natural beauty, not for cover-ups.
i love make up and i wear them to enhance my best feature on my face to make it more outstanding, not hiding, but showing. i rather wear make up than having the ';ungroomed look';.

No actually makeup is supposed to enhance features they already have, unless u r wearing to much then yes your hiding something scary. But your just the type of guy who likes natural women, good for you!

women wear make up to add touches to their natural beauty. or to cover up all their ugliness that they think they have. some wear too much make up just because they want to get noticed. perfumes just make women smell good. its attracting and some girls use a lot because they have b.o. yes, to your last question. girls use make up to cover up blemishes, acne, scars, etc. they're just emberrased of what they look like and think make up can help. i try to wear little make up or to no make up at all. i try to be simple. i only wear make up for occasions. perfumes i use everyday. not to attract boys, but to smell good. and i do not have b.o.
you should see heavy make-up users without makeup, they look like someone else, and you realize why they wear so much.
A girl thinks she has to wear makeup because that is what society portrays. I wasn't allowed to start wearing makeup until I could buy it myself, my parents wouldn't buy it for me. I started using birthday/holiday money at 13 to buy it. Once I started wearing it you wouldn't catch me out of the house with out it on. Even just to run to the store for milk. Now I hardly ever wear it at all. So I have been through all stages. It doesn't necessarily mean she is trying to hide anything. It is just what most young girls/women do.
eh.. some girls wanna look prettier, you can't blame them. and just by saying 'plain' .. youre basically saying ALL girls are plain without it, only fueling their need for makeup.
personally, i barely even wear foundation.. so i cant really talk for other girls who wear the eyeliner, shadow..etc. but maybe guys caling them 'plain' is why they do it? just a hint.
because most girls look like **** without it. trust me...you may think that girl you like is all natural...but shes secretly running to the bathroom and reapplying concealer and blush and mascara like crazy.
Sorry Charlie. But, my husband LOVES it when I do all of that girlie stuff. AND, women do it because it makes us feel better. We've been doing it since the beginning of time.
Makeup is made to enhance a girls great features: lips, skin, eyes, etc. its just supposed to enhance not cover not mask so i partly no where your coming from. BUT also makeup makes us feel pretty when OUR real beauty shows through. i think u just hav been looking at the wrong girls because not every girl needs a blowtorch to take off her makeup. i wear makeup but it looks naturally beautiful as long as its not SOO OBVIOUS we're wearing it. we want to be complimented on our beauty so we ENHANCE. it just makes us feel pretty.

Not really something to hide, it just makes them feel better about themselves. Why do men and women dress up for job interviews? Because the extra touch of nicer clothes adds an air of self-confidence. I am not a girl who wears a lot of make up, a touch of eye shadow and i'm good to go. (Most people I know aren't even aware that i have ANY make up on!) But I do like to paint my nails, and THAT is because it is a way to express my individuality. no you're wrong. there are many girls who are make up devotees, not because they want to hide but because it is a women's thing and they love it. people like make up artists have got nothing to hide, its just their art side. girls,..i can understand they are just experimenting. in some work places, women wearing no make up can be seen as dull, tasteless, and still got that just-out-of-bed style.
sure there are girls who wear loads of make up to hide something on their faces, they just didnt understand the purpose of make up. make up is for enhancing your natural beauty, not for cover-ups.
i love make up and i wear them to enhance my best feature on my face to make it more outstanding, not hiding, but showing. i rather wear make up than having the ';ungroomed look';.

It has nothing to do with what other people think.Girls do it because it's apart of ';taking care'; of themselves.Think about the first impression what would you think if you saw someone with their hair all messed up,ragged clothes,and no make up,it would look like they just rolled out of bed don't you think.It makes us feel good.In fact it makes me feel PROUD to be a GIRL!!!!
